How much does the service cost?
We offer weekly service packages based on chef experience and service level. Our Professional package is $300/week, Gold package is $400/week, and Platinum package is $500/week. All packages include personalized menu planning, grocery shopping (ingredients billed separately), meal preparation, and kitchen cleanup.
Who provides the ingredients?
You have two options: your chef can purchase ingredients (with the cost added to your bill) or you can provide ingredients based on a shopping list from your chef. Many clients prefer to have the chef handle shopping for maximum convenience.
How are chefs vetted?
All Cheftastic.ai chefs undergo a rigorous vetting process including background checks, verification of culinary credentials and experience, skills assessment, food safety certification verification, and client reviews. Only about 15% of chef applicants are accepted to our platform.
Can I change my chef if I'm not satisfied?
Yes, if you're not completely satisfied with your chef, you can request a change at any time. Our customer success team will help match you with a new chef who better meets your needs and preferences.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially for Gold and Platinum chefs who tend to have fuller schedules. However, we can sometimes accommodate last-minute requests with our Professional chefs, depending on availability.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a fee. Rescheduling can usually be accommodated based on your chef's availability.
